Thank you for visiting my website! I'm a photographer who grew up in Cleveland, OH, with an avid passion for fishing, hiking and anything that involved the outdoors. It wasn't until my senior year of college, after taking an intro photography class, that I realized, photography is the perfect gateway to my passions and the best way to help make a difference in the world. A few short years later and with a little luck, the company I was working for relocated to Canada and I received a severance package. Over the next 8 months, I traveled extensively - camping, fishing and most importantly, developing my photography skills along the way. It's now been almost 10 years since I first got into the world of photography but my philosophy has always stayed the same: Get off the beaten path and see a side of nature that most people don't get to experience, so that I can share those unique experiences with those who view my photos. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work at a remote lodge in Alaska as a fishing & brown bear viewing guide. Simply put, it was an utterly incredible experience and allowed me to capture wildlife photos in a way I never imagined. At the end of that summer, I did something I never thought I would do. I ended up quitting my stable job in finance to pursue my photography dreams...Now, most days you can find me on the road in pursuit of the next adventure.

Nature - specifically wildlife,  holds a special place in my heart. If I can inspire those who view my photos to help out the environment or work to save a particular species, it would mean I accomplished my ultimate goal. Through my photos I also hope to inform my viewers of different environmental issues and the wonders of the natural world, as well as to share the emotion and enthusiasm I have for the outdoors. For that reason, 25% of the proceeds from specific photos, is donated to a foundation or non-profit dedicated to the conservation of that species or environment. Detailed information about the foundations and their cause can be found on the purchase page and checkout of specific photos.
